Paul Harris Presents

They touch a face-down phone.
You reveal the impossible.

Two hands in low light: one holds a phone showing a glowing full moon while the other hand's fingertip presses the moon exactly where it shines.

They cannot see the photograph or aim. They touch anywhere, then keep their finger exactly where it landed as you turn the phone over. The person, card, word, or detail you predicted is directly beneath it.

JOSHUA’S CURRENT FAVORITE

Touch the Moon

Photograph the moon slightly off-center. With the phone face down, ask them to intuitively touch where they think the moon is and hold still. Slowly turn the phone over — the brightest point in the sky is directly under their fingertip.

This is my new favorite way to perform ForcePoint. The blind touch has a reason, the image reads instantly, and the reveal looks beautiful.

ALSO FIELD-READY

The Bookshelf

A spectator names something they can see on a real bookshelf — a title, an author, or a single large word. When they later touch the hidden photo blind, their fingertip lands on the very thing they named.

A LOOK AT WHAT ELSE IS INSIDE

  • The Three Photo Convincer

Before the blind touch, they choose the first, second, or third photo. After the reveal, the other two crops show that the same touch would have landed on something else. An apparently arbitrary choice becomes the final convincer.

  • The Sealed Prediction

A sealed prediction sits in full view before the phone is handed over. It is read aloud while the phone is still face down; only then does it turn over, their fingertip resting on exactly that detail.

  • The Heaviest Thing in the Picture

Asked to find the heaviest thing in the photograph — the one that carries the most feeling, not the most weight — their blind touch settles on exactly that.

Full methods and setup are shared with invited performers only.

Don’t force the finger. Control what they discover.

They choose the place before they can see what it means.

  1. 1SCREEN DOWN

The screen faces the floor. The photograph is out of sight.

  2. 2TOUCH ANYWHERE

They place one finger anywhere on the unseen glass.

  3. 3KEEP CONTACT

That fingertip stays exactly where it landed as the phone turns.

  4. 4DISCOVER

Face up, the predicted detail is directly beneath it.

THE CONDITION

  • There is no grid, menu, or suggested area.
  • Their fingertip stays exactly where it landed.
  • You perform it with your own photographs.

There is no visible switch, swipe, or reset during the revelation. No controls, no marker, no interface — they see only the photograph and what they have found in it.

ONE TOOL. MANY PRESENTATIONS.

The current photo beta can be presented as any of these. They are presentations of the same effect, not separate software modes.

  • Prediction
  • Intuition
  • Influence
  • Synchronicity
  • Coincidence
  • Mind reading

The first release focuses on photographs. More modes and applications are in development.

THE ORIGIN

There is nothing else like it.

ForcePoint is not an adaptation of an existing app or a known principle. It began as an idea in Joshua Logan’s head — that you should never force the finger, only what is under it — and was built, tested, and rebuilt over the course of a couple of years until the blind touch felt like nothing at all. It is now released under Paul Harris Presents.
